Removal Procedure

  1. Confirm the CTRL LED on the processor module is OFF (indicating standby mode). If ON, toggle the START/STOP switch to turn it OFF.
  2. Disconnect the V net coupler cable from the module’s front and then remove the secondary V net coupler cable.
  3. Loosen the securing screws and carefully pull the module straight out.

Installation Procedure

  • Ensure the replacement module has the same domain and station numbers as the original.
  • Set the BATTERY ON/OFF switch to OFF.
  • Insert the module securely into the base unit’s slot, aligning with the backboard connection.
  • Tighten the securing screws.
  • Reconnect the V net coupler cable to the module’s front, followed by the secondary cable.
  • Switch the BATTERY ON/OFF to ON.
  • Confirm module operation by checking the front lamps or SCS state management window. Verify any error messages in the SENG diagnostics.
