Removal Procedure
- Confirm the CTRL LED on the processor module is OFF (indicating standby mode). If ON, toggle the START/STOP switch to turn it OFF.
- Disconnect the V net coupler cable from the module’s front and then remove the secondary V net coupler cable.
- Loosen the securing screws and carefully pull the module straight out.
Installation Procedure
- Ensure the replacement module has the same domain and station numbers as the original.
- Set the BATTERY ON/OFF switch to OFF.
- Insert the module securely into the base unit’s slot, aligning with the backboard connection.
- Tighten the securing screws.
- Reconnect the V net coupler cable to the module’s front, followed by the secondary cable.
- Switch the BATTERY ON/OFF to ON.
- Confirm module operation by checking the front lamps or SCS state management window. Verify any error messages in the SENG diagnostics.
