Introduction

The IC695NIU001 is an Ethernet Network Interface Unit (NIU) designed for the PACSystems RX3i. This unit allows the use of PACSystems RX3i and Series 90-30 I/O modules over an Ethernet network, enabling remote I/O operations with automatic data exchange once configured.

Features

System Control and Status Monitoring

• Provides system control via any master device capable of exchanging Ethernet Global Data (EGD).
• Automatically provides the controller with status information, which can be monitored by the application program logic in the controller to issue commands to the Ethernet NIU.

Configuration and Compatibility

• Compatible with RX3i Universal Backplanes, RX3i power supplies, RX3i Ethernet modules, and optional Series 90-30 expansion backplanes.
• Supports various RX3i and Series 90-30 modules suitable for different applications.
• Requires Machine Edition Logic Developer software, version 5.51 or later.
