Description

The Honeywell 10105/2/1 Fail-safe High-Density Analog Input Module is designed for applications requiring fail-safe operations. This module includes sixteen analog inputs (0-4 V) and an external voltage readback input (0-4 V). The channels are safety-classified as AK5 and feature an isolated analog 0 V common for all sixteen channels.

Analog Input Requirements

The analog inputs require conversion from 0-20 mA to levels usable by the 10105/2/1 module. This conversion can be achieved via:

  • The field termination assembly module (FTA-T-14)
  • The analog input conversion module (10105/A/1) mounted on a programming connector (Px) on the I/O backplane in a 19-inch rack.

Analog input signals such as thermocouples and PT-100 sensors must be converted to 0(4)-20 mA using a dedicated converter and an FTA-T-14 or 10105/A/1 module.
