Description:

The Bently Nevada 133388-02 3500/50 Tachometer Module is a dual-channel unit designed to monitor shaft speed, rotor acceleration, and direction using proximity probes or magnetic pickups (with limitations). It compares these measurements against user-set alarms and supports four configurable options:

  1. Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Speed Band Alarming.
  2. Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Zero Speed Notification.
  3. Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Rotor Acceleration Alarming.
  4. Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, and Reverse Rotation Notification.

Features:

  • Generates alarms based on user-programmable setpoints.
  • Provides conditioned Keyphasor® signals to the 3500 rack backplane.
  • Includes a peak hold feature for storing maximum speeds and reverse rotations.
  • Not suitable for independent use as a speed control or overspeed protection system.

Specifications:

  • Inputs: Accepts up to two transducer signals, with a range of +10.0 V to -24.0 V.
  • Power Consumption: Typical 5.8 Watts.
  • Outputs: Includes front panel LEDs (OK, TX/RX, Bypass), buffered transducer outputs, and recorder outputs (+4 to +20 mA).
  • Environmental Limits: Operating temperature -30°C to +65°C, storage temperature -40°C to +85°C, 95% non-condensing humidity.

Certifications:

  • CE Mark compliant.
  • Hazardous area approvals for CSA/NRTL/C Class I, Division 2, Groups A-D.

Physical Dimensions:

  • Dimensions: 241.3 mm x 24.4 mm x 241.8 mm (9.50 in x 0.96 in x 9.52 in).
  • Weight: 0.82 kg (1.8 lbs.).

Ordering Considerations:

  • Requires specific firmware and software versions for integration into existing 3500 Monitoring Systems.
