AI830 RTD Input Module
Description
The AI830 RTD Input Module has 8 channels for temperature measurement with resistive elements (RTDs) using 3-wire connections. All RTDs must be isolated from ground. The module supports Pt100, Cu10, Ni100, Ni120, or resistive sensors. It performs linearization and conversion of temperature to Centigrade or Fahrenheit on the module. Each channel can be individually configured. The MainsFreq parameter sets the mains frequency filter cycle time, providing a notch filter at the specified frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz).

Four different types of MTUs can be used:
- TU830 Extended MTU
- TU810 Compact MTU
- TU814 Compact MTU: Enables three-wire connection to devices without additional terminals.
- TU812 Compact MTU: Has a D-Sub 25 pin (male) connector for process connection.
Shielded field cables are required for process connections.
