Description

The 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor is a four-channel monitor that accepts inputs from proximity and seismic transducers. It conditions the signals to provide vibration and position measurements and compares these signals with user-programmable alarms. The monitor communicates essential machine information to both operations and maintenance personnel and protects machinery by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms.

Each channel can be programmed using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to monitor and report various measurements, including:

  • Shaft Absolute Position
  • Eccentricity
  • Circular Acceptance Region
  • Velocity

Monitor operation is unaffected by short circuits on recorder outputs.
