Description

The Honeywell FSC 10101/2/2 Fail-safe Digital Input Module is designed with sixteen 60 Vdc digital input channels and operates with an internal supply voltage of 24 Vdc. The module is built with a 'fail-to-safe' input stage, ensuring that any component failure results in a de-energized input signal to the processor, maintaining safety in a normally energized system.

The module's remaining logic circuitry is fully covered by the system's self-test functions. Within the configured process safety time, the module is tested for the following:

• Ability to receive logic level '0' signals.
• Ability to receive logic level '1' signals.
• Crosstalk between inputs.
