PACSystems* RX3i Redundancy CPU Overview
The PACSystems RX3i Redundancy CPU* offers real-time control capabilities for machines, processes, and material handling systems. It utilizes SNP Slave protocol for communication with the programmer and HMI devices via a serial port. Communication with I/O and smart option modules occurs over a dual backplane bus, featuring a high-speed PCI backplane for advanced I/O throughput and a serial backplane for easy migration of existing Series 90*-30 I/O.
