Description

The 3500/77M Recip Cylinder Pressure Monitor is a 4-channel monitor designed to accept inputs from Bently Nevada-approved pressure transducers. It conditions the signals to perform various pressure measurements for reciprocating compressors and compares these signals with user-programmable alarms. The monitor primarily provides machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to trigger alarms, and essential machine information for operations and maintenance personnel.

Each channel typically conditions its input signal to provide eight measured variable values related to cylinder pressure operation:

  • Discharge Pressure
  • Suction Pressure
  • Maximum Pressure
  • Minimum Pressure
  • Compression Ratio
  • Peak Rod Compression
  • Peak Rod Tension
