Overview

The FBM204, 0 to 20 mA Input/Output module features four 20 mA dc analog input channels and four 20 mA dc analog output channels. Each channel is galvanically isolated from other channels and ground. The module performs necessary signal conversion to interface electrical input/output signals from field sensors to the optionally redundant fieldbus. It executes the Analog I/O application program, offering configurable options such as Conversion Time, Fail-Safe Configuration, and Analog Output Fail-Safe Fallback Data. Additionally, it supports distributed PIDA (DPIDA) application programs for fast control loops.
