Description
The Bently Nevada™ 3500/53 Electronic Overspeed Detection System is part of the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It provides a highly reliable, fast-response, redundant tachometer system specifically designed for overspeed protection in accordance with API Standards 670 and 612. The 3500/53 modules can be configured to form either a 2-out-of-2 or a 2-out-of-3 voting system, with the latter being recommended. This system requires the use of a 3500 rack with redundant power supplies to ensure continuous operation.
