The 3500 racks are designed to accommodate various industrial needs and are available in two sizes:

• Full-Size Rack: This 19-inch EIA rack offers 14 module slots, providing ample space for extensive module configurations.
• Mini-Rack: This compact 12-inch rack features seven module slots, ideal for smaller installations.

Mounting Formats for 3500 Racks

3500 racks can be ordered in three different mounting formats to suit various installation requirements:

• Panel Mount: This format allows the rack to be mounted to rectangular cutouts in panels, secured with clamps provided with the rack. Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the rear of the rack.
• Rack Mount: This format mounts the 3500 rack on 19-inch EIA rails. Wiring connections and I/O modules are also accessible from the rear of the rack.
• Bulkhead Mount: This format mounts the rack against a wall or panel, suitable for situations where rear access is not possible. Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the front of the rack. Note: The 3500/05 Mini-Rack is not available in this format.
