Control Processor Module Hardware Specifications

The Honeywell Experion PKS C200 TC-PRS021 Control Processor module is designed to meet stringent operational and environmental requirements, ensuring reliable performance in industrial control applications.

Hardware Specifications:

• Module Power Requirements:

  • +5 VDC +/- 5% @ 1.5 A
  • +3.3 VDC +/- 5% @ 1.0 A

• Module Battery Backup:

  • Lithium Battery (standard, built-in):
    • Backup Time: 144 hours (non-rechargeable, replaceable)
  • Battery Extension Module (BEM):
    • Backup Time: 120 hours (rechargeable)

  Note:

  • The CPM backup is provided either by the Lithium Battery or the Battery Extension Module (BEM), but not simultaneously.
  • If a BEM is used, the Lithium battery must be removed from the Control Processor. A warning label inside the CP front door provides guidance.

• Environmental Specifications:

  • Operating Temperature: -55°C to +85°C
  • Storage Temperature: Check Table 1 for complete environmental specifications.

• Certifications and Compliance:

  • The Lithium battery used has a non-restricted classification due to its size, allowing it to be shipped without special documentation.
  • Refer to Table 1 for agency certifications and additional environmental specifications.
