Description

The ABB PM891K01 is a monolithic processor unit part of the Compact Product Suite hardware. It integrates a power supply, CPU boards, and unit termination. The PM891 features a microprocessor, RAM memory, a real-time clock, LED indicators, an INIT push button, and a Secure Digital interface. Unlike other units, it does not contain an internal battery. The PM891 has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for Control Network connections and one RJ45 serial port (COM4), which is isolated and used for configuration tools. It supports CPU redundancy for enhanced availability, including CPU, CEX-Bus, communication interfaces, and S800 I/O.
